During this procedure, a probe (endoscope) fitted with a tiny instrument is inserted through a small incision in the nose. The surgeon watches the images on a monitor while moving the endoscope, and removes the tumor. Instruments (such as a scalpel, scissors, or forceps) are inserted either through a tube or another point of entry
