Walk Ahead for a Brain Tumor Cure is an annual 5k walk-run that began in 2010 a way to unify people affected by brain tumors and to raise funds for brain tumor research and education. The event, spearheaded by the Brain Tumor Center’s Community Advisory Council, launched on a special day: 10/10/10.
The family-friendly event has raised more than $1,300,000 since its beginning. In 2015 it drew more than 3,300 participants from 19 states and raised over $317,000.
The UC Brain Tumor Center thanks everyone who walked, ran, volunteered and donated. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of those who are affected by brain tumors.
Mark your calendar for Sunday, October 23, 2016 for the 7th annual Walk Ahead for a Brain Tumor Cure!
